Safer Internet Day 2016 is Almost Here!

The ASKfm Safety Team is making their way down to Universal Studios for the one-day event taking place tomorrow, February 9th. More than 350 teens, educators, policy makers, parents, Internet safety experts and executives from leading tech companies Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, Google and others are all coming together uncover solutions for a better, safer Internet.

ASKfm’s own Catherine Teitelbaum will be a judge in the event’s student activity “Role Reversal: Students School Us,” where students will work together to tackle some of today’s toughest questions about technology, social media and their online lives. Their expertise will help industry leaders, schools leaders and parents develop solutions to their biggest challenges online.

Be sure to check out tomorrow’s SID-themed QOTD on ASKfm and chime in with your thoughts. And stay tuned to the ASKfm Safety Center for new safety resources, event highlights, key learnings and interviews with notable safety experts from the ASKfm team at #SIDUS16.

Can’t make it out to Universal Studios? No worries – you can catch all the action on the SID live stream.
